Set the homepage of your site, which will be where your site visitors will go when they type in your URL (e.g, example.tamu.edu).
About Homepages in Aggie UX
The homepage in Aggie UX has slightly different options than other pages on your site.
Page Header Options
Homepages in Aggie UX can have more options when using the Landing page header type. On homepages, when using the Landing Page Header Type, you will have a slightly larger hero image/video and can have up to four CTA buttons.
You can also opt to use the Standard Page Header on landing pages if you don’t have the media to support the Landing/Homepage Header.
Page Layout Options
The homepage in Aggie UX sites cannot have a sidebar. While the options for Sidebar Menu (left) and In-Page Navigation (right) still display, they will have no impact on the homepage layout.
How to Set Your Homepage
- Go to Appearance > Themes
- Click Customize on your active Aggie UX theme
- Open Homepage Settings panel
- Choose an existing page from the Homepage dropdown or click Add Page to create a new page to use as your homepage
- After making changes, click Publish
