Storybook Updates

Aggie UX v1.3.0 now available

This release introduces components and templates for news, profiles and directories.

In addition to minor CSS updates for existing components, many new components were introduced for news stories & feeds templates and profiles & directories templates.

We introduced the following components:

  • Standalone Blockquote: Standalone blockquotes are for quotations with citations that can be used outside of custom content.
  • Publication Accordion Groups: Publication accordion group is a collection of specialized accordions (headers that can be clicked to reveal or hide content associated with them) designed to house information about scholarly publications.
  • News Story Page Header: A news story page header is available exclusively for use on news, blog or similarly article-based pages. A news story page header must include the story’s title (the <h1> heading) and a link to view all news, and can have additional story metadata.
  • Profile Page Header: A profile page header is available exclusively for use on profile pages. This special page header type includes a person’s name as the <h1> heading and other contact information. Profile page headers are designed to look very similar to contact cards.
  • Sidebar Feed: A sidebar feed is a dynamically-generated list of related content.
  • Tags & Tag Collections: Tags are the building blocks of tag collections, which aid in users either finding their desired or related content, ultimately serving as a navigation tool.
  • Inline Feed Group: An inline feed group is an automatically generated list of content, displayed as a collection of horizontally oriented, modular cards.
  • News Story Footer: News story footers are exclusively for use at the bottom of article-based content, above the site footer, specifically for use on news story page templates.
  • Horizontal Filters: Horizontal filters can be used to provide multiple filtering and search options within a section of a website. This can be especially useful in applications, on directories, and other multipage collections of content that can be easily categorized.
  • Directory: A directory is a collection of profile links that display high-level biographical information, such as a person’s full name and title.
