Accessing the Aggie UX Figma Community File
Learn how to access the Aggie UX Figma library depending on your account type.

We regularly publish updates to our Figma library as we make new components or address bugs in our file. You can find the current version of all Aggie UX Figma files at figma.com/@aggieux.
The way you access and interact with the Aggie UX design files will depend on the type of account you have (free or paid).

For Users With Free Accounts
Free accounts have a file limit (3) and do not allow files to connect to external libraries. In order to use our library, you will download the file and make your mockups within it.
To start using Aggie UX in Figma with a free account:
- Sign into Figma with your free account
- Go to figma.com/@aggieux
- Select the current version of the Aggie UX Design System
- Click on Open In Figma to save a copy of the Aggie UX Design System file to your account as a project
- Open the Aggie UX Design System file and create your mockups within this project
When interacting with the Aggie UX Design System file as part of a free account, you will be making a copy of it at a certain point in time. You will not be able to receive updates to this file when we release new versions with bug fixes, enhancements and new components.
For Users With Paid Accounts
If you pay for a Figma subscription, you can connect to our Aggie UX library and receive updates when we publish a new version. Paying for an account allows you to make your own mockups outside of our community file and connect to our library. This lets you receive updates instead of having to recreate mockups to receive new components or bug fixes.
To start using Aggie UX in Figma with a paid account:
- Sign into Figma with your paid account
- Go to figma.com/@aggieux
- Select the current version of the Aggie UX Design System

- Create a new project or open an existing project that is NOT the Aggie UX Design System file
- Open the Assets tab on the left sidebar
- Click on the Book icon to manage your libraries
- Click Add to file on the Aggie UX Design System library
- Make mockups within this project file using assets from the Aggie UX Design System library.
Tip: You can open the Aggie UX Design System file and make copies of our mockup templates and paste them into a new project. This allows you to use the frames we have already created and configured to make mockups without having to make them yourself.
