Site Identity Display Options
Learn how to edit the site identity display option in your site header. You can either use a lockup identity or a text identity.

Choosing Your Site Identity Option
There are two site identity display options in Aggie UX Cascade sites: a lockup identity or a text identity.
Site Header with Lockup Identity
A lockup identity uses an approved Texas A&M unit identity (also known as a lockup) as the site name. Only websites that are the primary site for an approved Texas A&M University unit who would be eligible for a unit identity should use this option. For example, the Division of Marketing and Communications’ primary website (marcomm.tamu.edu) uses a site header with a lockup identity.

Site Header with Text Identity
A text identity types out the site name in plain text on the left hand side and displays either an approved Texas A&M lockup / unit identity or the Texas A&M University logo on the opposite side of the screen to denote which unit owns the site. For example, the Websites at Texas A&M website (web.tamu.edu) uses a text identity.
