Applying UX Principles in Practice
Learn how to practically apply principles and research methods in the process of creating a new (or updating and existing) website.

In a previous module, we went over key elements of user experience. These elements were largely conceptual, although there were also practical tips. The following module covered common UX research methods used to identify a website’s effectiveness.
In this module, we will focus on the practical application of these principles and research methods within the process of creating a new (or updating an existing) website.
This is not the only way you could go about redesigning a website, but we believe following this process will help you:
- Stay on track throughout the process
- Improve an existing site’s usability
- Create strategic content instead of continuing to carry over content rot
- Get timely content approvals
